Note: IQAlert is available only for Android phones, with at least Android 8 (Oreo) installed on them.
Using your Android mobile phone, tap the below link to install v. 1.3 of the IQAlert Android app:
After downloading the file, open it. Google’s Play Protect will inform you that it doesn’t recognize the app, and whether you want to install it anyway. Tap Install Anyway.
Play Protect will then ask you if you want to send the app for scanning. Tap Send. Play Protect will scan the app to determine if it is safe to run. After this, you can also do an explicit scan of all apps – including IQAlert – on your phone.
IQAlert is safe. It doesn’t collect user data and it doesn’t send or receive any data over the Internet. It communicates with apps and watch faces on Garmin watches only through the Garmin Connect app (which has to be installed on the same phone).
